The kids and I watched the livestream of the Rite of Ordination of Priests held today at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee. Nine men were ordained!
(This happens to be the biggest ordination class for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in 30 years, Praise the Lord!)
Oh MY, what a beautiful gift it was to my soul to witness this Sacrament of Holy Orders online. It was a new experience for me.
We enjoyed all of the many aspects to this very special Mass. I’m not sure which part was my favorite. It might have been this moment (captured by taking a photo of the TV, sorry for the fuzzy lines) when they lie prostrate. This was also when they prayed for the intercessory prayers of SO many saints. Powerful!
